In order to get a better understanding of the way in which teaser trailers utilize conventions to tease the audience i decided to do analysis on the teaser trailer of an independent film called "127 hours' directed by Danny Boyle. I found that although they use the techniques of mainstream teaser trailers such as : lack of dialogue and fast paced editing there is however a variety of differences.
This shows the use of of structure of the teaser trailer which split in too 3 parts to help tease out the main parts of the narrative for the audience.
the opening scenes is extremely effective in immediately establishing the setting and character for the audience as well as promoting Danny Boyle's films.
