Teaser Trailer Conventions

Before making my teaser trailer i had to look at the use of generic conventions that are used in order to tease the audience to watch the film :
  •     A trailer must be fast paced   the editing of shots must be quick and intense in order to build up tension.
  •    Teaser trailers are  normally very short lasting up to at least  one minute
  •    Use of  a soundtrack  lack of dialogue  and voice  over to  give a bit of an overview of the narrative
  •     Use of long shots, wide shots and establishing shots  - establishes the setting for the audience.
  •    Vague release date  usually  does not have a date but says  "coming soon " teases the audience with a lack of information.
